Ocean Diver

Upon qualification as an Ocean diver you can partake in all “Qualified Ocean” dives. Subject to Instructor and Diving Officer approval, venue suitability and space availability unqualified Ocean diver trainees may be able to train or gain experience on other dive days.

Skill Development Courses

TBD TBD DSC VHF Radio Course (RYA course) TBD The course is useful to all those who venture on the sea as it qualifies you to hold a licence required to operate a VHF marine radio (e.g. the radio in either of the club boats). It gives you an appreciation of radio usage, the necessary protocols and practice.
TBD TBD Nitrox Blender (BSAC SDC or other training agency course) TBD If you are or planning to use nitrox this is a useful course to attend as, upon completion of both the NSAC compressor operator and nitrox Blending familiarisation courses you will be able to use the club’s blending facilities.
