Boat Cleaning All Hands

At first it was full of enthusiasm and all hands to the pump with over 20-25 people in attendance, a marvelous turnout for what was a dry , if not a little murky, day with plenty of hot refreshments to hand, followed by a BBQ later on in the day.

Graham hosing down after a good scrub a dub dub of the hull and decking (look how shiny the RIB’s  are), watched over by some “enthusiastic and encouraging bystanders (slackers).

After some hard and dirty work with a scourer and ajax, there were some that needed additional tuition from Anthony with comments such as  “you missed this bit” and “not like that” and “what about this section over here, it should be orange, not black”

There were others that just had to make sure they were (or at least part of them) was in the shot.

Obviously an executive moment with far more important discussions needing resolution, such as “Well Dave, I knew that you weren’t eager, but isn’t this taking it a little far”

Those executive briefings can take an awesome toll. Is that a sandwich box ?

And after a hard days toil, some welcome refreshment, but surely the food isn’t that bad that Simon needs to look dangerous with a saw, awfully close to the neck, don’t you think ?

Although Patrick seems to have a few admirers for his culinary skills with a sausage and tongs, Stewart does not look too happy about what he is about to receive.

Well, the food and Hot drinks went down a storm, now it’s just the hangers on that have to do the clearing up under the ever watchful eye of Simon and Dave.
